Applications on your job
Managing Applications
After publishing a job, providers can apply for it. This article explains how to manage applications effectively and make the best choice.
Receiving Applications
You'll be notified by email and in the app when new applications come in. Each application includes:
- Provider profile: Photo, description, and qualifications
- Application message: A personal note explaining why the provider is a good fit
- Reviews: Previous reviews from other customers
- Verification status: The three trust rings show the verification level
Evaluating Applications
Take the time to carefully review each application:
Review the Profile
- Is the profile complete and professional?
- Does their experience match your job requirements?
- What do their previous reviews say?
Read the Application Message
- Does the provider address your specific requirements?
- Does the application seem personal or like a generic template?
Check Verification
- How many trust rings does the provider have?
- Which verification steps have been completed?
Your Options
For each application, you can:
- Invite to video call: The most important next step — get to know the provider personally.
- Decline: If the profile doesn't match your requirements.
- Bookmark: Mark interesting applications to review later.
Comparing Multiple Applications
We recommend comparing several applications before making a decision. Conduct multiple video calls if needed to find the best match.
Tips
- Respond to applications promptly — engaged providers may also be courted by other customers.
- Look beyond qualifications and consider the personal touch in the application.
- The video call is the most important decision factor — don't rely solely on the written application.
