Creating a Job Posting

With a job posting, you describe the help you need. The more detailed your description, the better-matched applications you'll receive.

How to Create a Job

1. Choose a Category

Select the appropriate service category: childcare, elderly care, household help, tutoring, pet care, or gardening.

2. Describe the Details

Provide as much specific information as possible:

  • Title: A descriptive title, e.g., "Regular afternoon care for 2 children (ages 4 and 7)"
  • Description: What exactly is expected? What tasks are involved?
  • Timeline: When is the help needed? One-time or ongoing?
  • Frequency: How often per week or month?
  • Location: Which city or neighborhood?

3. Set Requirements

  • Desired experience and qualifications
  • Language skills
  • Special abilities (e.g., first aid certification, driver's license)

4. Specify Compensation

Provide an hourly rate or flat fee. Fair compensation attracts more qualified applicants.

5. Publish Your Job

Review all details and publish your job. It will be immediately visible to matching providers in your area.

After Publishing

  • You'll receive notifications for new applications.
  • You can accept or decline applications, or invite providers to a video call.
  • Your job stays active until you close it manually or book a provider.

Tips for a Successful Job Posting

  • Be as specific as possible in your description.
  • Offer realistic compensation — research typical hourly rates.
  • Respond promptly to applications so you don't lose engaged providers.
  • Use the video call to meet the best candidates in person.
