Book a provider
Booking on Helpful Folks
After getting to know a provider through the introductory video call, you can officially start the collaboration with a booking.
Prerequisites for a Booking
- You have an active job posting or found a profile through search.
- An introductory video call has taken place (recommended or required for personal services).
- Both sides want to work together.
How to Book a Provider
1. Initiate the Booking
After a successful video call, you can start a booking through the provider's profile or application. Confirm the agreed details:
- Type of service
- Duration and frequency
- Agreed compensation
2. Provider Confirmation
The provider must confirm the booking. Once both sides have agreed, the booking is active.
3. Start Working Together
After booking confirmation, you can:
- Clarify further details through the integrated chat.
- Coordinate schedules.
- Begin the collaboration.
Payment
Payment is handled directly between you and the provider. Helpful Folks takes no commission. Clarify in advance:
- Payment method (cash, bank transfer, etc.)
- Payment frequency (after each session, weekly, monthly)
- Any additional costs that may apply
Ending a Booking
When the collaboration ends — whether after completing the job or for other reasons — you can end the booking in your dashboard. Don't forget to leave a review to help other customers.
