The Three Trust Circles — Safety That Fits Your Needs

Trust Doesn't Happen by Accident

When you let someone into your home or entrust them with caring for your children, you need more than a nice profile picture. That's why we developed a trust system at Helpful Folks that adapts to the type of service: the three trust circles.

The idea is simple: The more sensitive the service, the more thorough the verification. You get exactly the level of safety that fits the situation — without unnecessary hurdles.

The three trust circles of Helpful Folks

The Three Circles at a Glance

Heart Helpers (Circle 1)

For those who matter most. Childcare and elderly care fall into this circle. The highest trust requirements apply here, because you're entrusting these people with your loved ones.

What Heart Helpers verify:

  • Verified profile photo (required)
  • ID verification (required)
  • Address verification (required)
  • Liability insurance (recommended)

Plus: A personal video call takes place before every booking. This way you get to know the person behind the profile before making a decision.

Everyday Helpers (Circle 2)

Reliable help for home and daily life. Household help, shopping assistance, garden care, pet care, repairs, moving help, and tech support belong to this circle.

What Everyday Helpers verify:

  • Verified profile photo (required)
  • ID verification (required)
  • Address verification (required)
  • Liability insurance (recommended)

Book directly: You can book Everyday Helpers right away — or optionally have a get-to-know conversation first.

Knowledge Helpers (Circle 3)

Learn and grow with the right people. Tutoring, language lessons, music lessons, and digital assistance fall into this circle.

What Knowledge Helpers verify:

  • Verified profile photo (required)
  • ID verification (required)
  • Address verification (required)
  • Liability insurance (optional)

Flexible: Knowledge Helpers can work online or in person. Direct booking is available here as well.

Private Individual or Company?

Every profile transparently shows whether the provider is a private individual or a business. So you always know who you're dealing with.

What Did We Learn from Other Platforms?

We studied many platforms before building Helpful Folks. What we noticed: Most platforms have no tiered verification. Whether someone looks after your child or mows your lawn — the requirements are the same (or none at all).

That doesn't make sense. That's why we developed the trust circles: They ensure verification matches the service. Not too much, not too little.

What Does This Mean for You as a Seeker?

  • You see immediately which verifications a provider has completed
  • You can compare — badges are visible on every profile
  • You know what's required — and what the provider has voluntarily verified beyond that
  • More badges mean more thorough verification — helping you make better decisions

What Does This Mean for Providers?

  • No bureaucratic hassle — verification is simple and quick
  • Build trust — every verification strengthens your profile and sets you apart
  • More bookings — verified profiles are highlighted and receive more inquiries
  • An investment in yourself — once verified, permanently visible
